Query Follow-Up

Once the query has been completed, linguists may also have follow-up comments related to the query and/or the answer.

We have implemented a two-tier approval process, meaning that you will have to approve any follow-up comment from linguists going to the game developer/publisher. Users with the following user roles have moderation rights for the follow-up module:

  • Project Manager
  • Linguistic Coordinator
  • LSP Admin

As a user with moderator rights added to the project, you will see a notification on (1) the sidebar menu indicating the project name and query ID. Click on the notification and the query will open in a new tab.

💭   The notification remains as “unread” until you click on it and until you scroll down on the Query Detail page to position the screen on the Follow-Up module. That way we ensure that you see the new follow-up comment.

Queries in the queries list that have new follow-up comments will have notifications on the comment bubble icon (2).

Here is how you manage a follow-up comment to a completed query:

Comments from linguists will appear with the "Decline" and "Approve" buttons.

💭   The client and the rest of the linguists did not receive a notification for this comment.

When you decline a comment submitted by a linguist, the message is deleted, and the linguist is notified.

When you approve the comment, the client and the rest of the project team will receive a notification. You can also decline or approve attachments.
